Should you choose Ukraine as a destination for Your surrogacy journey, I will be happy to share my knowledge and experience with you, in particular offering the following services: • Counseling services on legal aspects of international ART programs in Ukraine • Assistance with referrals to fertility clinics, physicians, genetic counselors • Drafting and negotiating all documents/contracts on ART services • Legal support at meetings and interviews with participants of ART programs • Translation, notary certification and apostillization of documents • Preparation of legal opinions regarding the compliance of the documents and procedures with relevant legislation and regulations • Arranging birth registration of the child(ren) • Preparation of documents necessary to secure citizenship of the newborn baby, obtaining an appropriate passport and travel out of Ukraine to the country of residence of the Intended Parents • Coordinating with immigration and family law attorneys in the home country of the Intended Parents • Acting as independent legal lawyer of the Surrogate, where necessary by national law of the Intended Parents, i.e.Ireland • Facilitation of documents from Ukrainian side, required for further legal procedures to cement parental rights of the Intended Parents in their home country, i.e.adoption/guardianship court proceedings • Dealing with specific issues raised as part of the surrogacy arrangements, i.e. - Establishment of fact of kin relationship in international surrogacy cases by virtue of special civil procedure in competent court of Ukraine, for jurisdictions, where Ukrainian birth certificate is not recognized by virtue of law - Filing of application to the State Migration Service of Ukraine for granting Ukrainian citizenship to the newborn, unless he/she has not been able to acquire citizenship of any other country, followed by obtaining Ukrainian biometric travel passport for the baby • Advising on other legal provisions based on each unique case Should you have any questions or concerns about legal regulation of surrogacy in Ukraine and options for participation of foreign patients in assisted reproduction programs in Ukrainian clinics, seek to know details of such programs or just want to ask me something, I’ll make myself available wherever I am needed!
