Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

A few years ago we knew a couple through friends that had tried IVF on their own and had not had much success despite multiple attempts. Finally they decided to look for a surrogate and spoke of how wonderful the experience had been. My husband and I would love to help another couple in need.

Description of myself:

I'm an energetic mother to a 3 year old little girl. By day I work for a Hospitality company in Operations Management and in my off time, I enjoy taking a bike ride with my husband and daughter. I enjoy cooking with my daughter and craft on the side as a hobby.

My letter to intended parents:

Dear IPs, As a mother, I have found this incredible bond with my child that is as if it has always existed. It's hard to remember my life before my daughter and unimaginable to think of a life without her. For that reason, I want to help others find that feeling and share that sentiment. I am active and healthy though I do have HSV2. During my pregnancy with my daughter, I took suppressive medication starting in the third trimester till I delivered and am happy to say I was able to deliver vaginally and naturally at the consent of my doctor without any complications. I would rather be up front about this and would be willing to have a cesarean if necessary per the doctor's recommendation. I look forward to meeting a couple that we can help grow their family and help fill a hole they may have never known they had. :)
