Dear future parents, My name is Katie im a 27 year old mum of 4 children. some people call me crazy i call myself blessed. When i was 17 my left fallopian tube was twisted. i was given a 50% chance of conceiving naturally. As it turns out ive never had a problem and now have 4 beautiful children 3 girls 1 boy. i have been with my partner for 9 years father of all my children and we are very happy. our family is now complete. now its time for me to help you. A bit about me - I have one miracle child born at 29 weeks weighing only 1lb 15oz. His brother born last year at 18 weeks was still born and his sister born this year at 26 weeks weighing only 14oz had a brain haemorrhage at 2 days old and didn't make it through. I've lost a further 18 babies early on, including my son's twin. I so desperately wish to give my son a sibling but my body fails me. Due to kidney problems my babies seem to suffer and since having a vertical c-section this year in an attempt to save my daughter, I can no longer risk any further attempts. I've looked into surrogacy before with my children's father but we are now going our separate ways - the emotional trauma of our losses has taken its toll. So it's my eggs and a donor sperm - do I need to get the Ivf sorted before searching for a surrogate? I'm almost 41 and I guess I don't have much time left. I live in Cornwall but would probably use a clinic in Bath for the egg harvesting. I'm a secondary school teacher, although I've not worked since my son's birth as I just want to spend as much time learning with him as possible
