Being a mother is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I want others to have the same opportunity. I also strongly believe in family equality and want to support male couples.

Dear To Be Dads; I don't know you yet but we already have something in common. We all want a family. We want to hold a baby and see him or her grow. I got pregnant very young and did not realize how much I wanted to be a mommy until I had my daughter. She is definitely a big part of my happiness. She is now 17 years of age and I have truly enjoyed every step of the way (even the teenage years!). Another part of my happiness comes from being able to give to others. You are obviously biologically not capable for bearing a child but that has nothing to do with your capabilities of being great parents and your desire for becoming loving fathers. You both already live in a stigmatized society and while you are legally entitled to marry there is a lot more work to do in order to reach family equality. If my husband and I have the right to rise a family, so should you. I want to be a surrogate mother to give you the opportunity to be parents and to help build a better and more just society for all.
