I have a very close relative (my dad’s older sister) who regretted not taking this route of surrogacy because growing up in her time it was frowned upon. She’s now old and I still see the pain in her eyes every time she sees her siblings with children. It is the most heart breaking thing I’ve ever seen and that made me feel like if I can be a vessel to avoid seeing that heartbreak ever again for anyone even a stranger, I’m here! Everyone deserves to experience the joy of having a baby.
