Hello, I am an experienced surrogate looking for a second journey. I value openness and honesty and want to lay all my cards out on the table, hence this long introduction. If you feel like we match up in philosophy, I would love to hear from you! I am looking for a very specific match. I am hoping to find a heterosexual couple that would prefer to do a single embryo transfer and would not be open to termination unless my life was in danger. I also would like to find IPs that would be supportive of a birthing center birth. My base fee is unusually high and my current health insurance does not cover surrogacy. If you are agreeable with the aforementioned things, or are just curious, please read on to find what I have to offer as a surrogate.... I'm an experienced surrogate: It is pretty obvious why this is desirable. My uterus is proven to react positively to an implanted embryo (on the first try!), as is my ability to adhere to a medication regimen. I also have proven that I can deal with the psychological aspect of surrogacy. I would imagine an experienced surrogate would give the IPs a small peace of mind regarding the surrogate's ability to "give back the baby" having done it already with no problem. Health-wise: Firstly, most surrogates have been pregnant 4, 5, or more times...that is not the case in my situation. I have been pregnant twice. This is desirable because the risk of a pregnancy complications increase with the greater number of pregnancies - risks such as placental abnormalities and postpartum hemorrhage. I feel like finding an experienced surro with only two prior pregnancies is rare and desirable. Also, at 27 yrs old, I am younger than most of the experienced surrogates and a younger age also decreases risks to a pregnancy. My BMI is perfectly normal and healthy. I also eat healthy and "whole" foods - I might stop for chick fil a or chipotle once a month - but other than that, I cook and eat home-prepared meals and snacks. Obstetrical outcomes: Both babies, my son and my surrobabe, were born full term and perfectly healthy - 7#2oz and 7#6oz. My son's labor was 16 hours and the surrobaby's labor was around 5 hours. Both progressed smoothly and were wonderful, joyous occasions. Having two, healthy vaginal births is a strong predictor that the next pregnancy and delivery will go smoothly as well. I have a professional video that was created of the surrobaby's birth at the birthing center and I would be more than happy to share it if requested. Knowledge base: I have my master's degree in nursing and work as a nurse midwife. I am very familiar with pregnancy and delivery - what is normal and what is not. I would imagine this would come as some comfort to intended parents. Before graduating, I worked as a L&D nurse for 4 years. I have devoted my whole professional life to supporting women achieve healthy pregnancies and deliveries. I am also currently in the process of becoming a lactation consultant. Personality: I am a very open and honest person. I feel this must be at the core of an excellent surrogacy relationship. I am comfortable sharing any and all aspects of the pregnancy with my IPs. I am highly organized, responsible and dependable. I have a big heart and want to make this a positive, amazing experience for the IPs that I carry for. Pregnancy and babies and helping people to create wonderful memories as they become families truly is my life's passion.
