Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I want to be a surrogate mother because I've always wanted to bring a child into this world and go through the natural process of pregnancy. I'm not at a point in my life where I want or can support having my own child. I am in a place where I can't pursue becoming a firefighter in the town I life in. So as I've been considering surrogacy, I figured now was a good span of time in which I could do good for people who truly deserve and can support a child.

Description of myself:

I would describe myself as a hard working individual with a passion for volunteer work. In February I moved out to Colorado with my boyfriend and made my home in Steamboat Springs. As most people I know here I work 2 jobs and spend most of my time either exploring or working. I love volunteer work and love the idea of helping people. So naturally as I've met people who have been on both sides of surrogacy, I found myself wanting to help people who require a surrogate by being one myself. I like jokes, hiking, swimming, dying my hair, and photography.

My letter to intended parents:

Hello, My name is Sonia. I'm 18 years old and have recently looked into becoming a surrogate mother. I'm very open to all types of couples and walks of life. As a surrogate mother I would be entirely willing to follow diet, health, and medical specifications set by the surrogate couple. I'd like to find a couple willing to be amazing parents to a child and I'd would love to be part of that experience and help to achieve that. As far as tradition goes, I'm not sure what involvement would be expected from me after birth but I would be open to anything ranging between no contact to updates to being involved in their life. It's entirely the decision of the couple. I hope that you'll consider me as your surrogate and let me be a part of this incredible journey with you.
