Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

Within the "how would you best describe yourself" section I stated that I had a "servant's heart". Whether it be through church or Girl Scouts or within a self-motivated venture I've always looked for ways to help people, and surrogacy is a very exciting and meaningful step within what I hope to be a lifetime of helping other people. Something as intimate and monumental as creating a child is not something to be taken lightly, I know, but I assure you that I would consider it the highest honor to be involved with something so precious. This desire to serve combined with my innate love of children makes surrogacy a kind of dream-come-true. On an even more personal level, however, I've known people who have struggled with conceiving or having a child. It's heart-rending for a person who wants nothing more than to be a parent to find out that they're incapable, whether it be due to medical reasons or reason of a non-traditional marriage. While I watched these people battle these emotions and barriers, I was too young and too far away geographically to volunteer myself to their service, but now that I'm old enough I'm eager to do for another couple what I was unable to do for them. Even as I'm perpetuating your dreams, you'd be fulfilling mine by including me in your journey.

Description of myself:

My name is Ambria, and I'm a hard-working, optimistic, motivated student (I'm currently deciding whether I want to go to college for chemical engineering or cyber security). I absolutely love to read (my favorite book being "A Clockwork Orange") as well as write and sing! Those who know me would describe me as very easy going, and I have a true servant's heart! Currently, I work as a full-time security officer at a private school in Houston, but I'm hoping to join the military one day or be a stay-at-home mom depending on the circumstances. I'm currently engaged, soon-to-be-married on Halloween to a wonderful, supportive man. We're not quite ready for our own children yet, but we're both very excited that I have the opportunity to help you with yours!

Hello future parents, First and foremost: congratulations on your decision to venture into the realm of parenthood! It is my hope that as you're reading through my profile something will strike a chord with you the way that your profile did with me. I'm sure you have many question and doubts as you move through this process, but I'll be there for you through it all, offering reassurances when I can and support when I can't. I'm sure the aforementioned questions you have for me and the answers I would like to provide could fill up an entire book, so I won't try and cram everything into this opening letter to you. Instead, I invite you to look over what my profile has to offer, decide if I fit your desires, and then ask all the questions you want. I'm eager to get to know you and start down this road with you.
