Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
I want to be able to offer a family what I have.Beautiful healthy children.I think most people take it for granted.While I'm still young and healthy and in the position to be pregnant I feel now is the right time in my life to offer this to a family in need.A family who dream of having a baby of they're own.This is something I am not taking lightly.I have read up and researched for over 12 months and spoke with my family openly about my decision.
Description of myself:
I am a mother of 4 beautiful healthy children.I am married and a stay at home parent.My 4 pregnancies were perfect. With my 4th child being born as a planned home birth.I have enjoyed my pregnancies but I know my family is complete.I looked into being sterilised but then realised how lucky I am to be able to conceive and carry healthily.

Hi Debra, I'm completely new to all of this but what I do know is that my husband and I after several failed attempts at IVF and trying for a family for nearly 5 years now our next option hopefully will be surrogacy. I am a teacher and cannot face the thought of not having children of my own. Like yourself, we have researched surrogacy for a long time as we wanted to make sure this was the best decision. I think it's amazing there are people out there like yourself Alyson, who are willinging to help couples have their very own family especially when other methods and options have failed which can be so disheartening. Unfortunately problems with my endometrium has meant that carrying is not an option and would love to explore surrogacy before thinking about possibly adopting. I'm lucky I have healthy eggs and the swimmers are doing ok too. Anyway, I have probably waffled on enough. A chat or any information would be most welcome, it really would.
