Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
I would love to help make someone's family dream into a reality! My son Phoenix's mother could not conceive after many medical issues nearly killed her and having her there at the birth and watching her share immediate skin to skin contact was such a beautiful thing. We remain in contact as it was an adoption rather than a surrogacy and it has been truly rewarding. I would love to help make someone's family dreams come true again and have had easy pregnancies!
Description of myself:
I am a Democrat, a humanist and an atheist. I believe in putting science and people first and that the most important thing we can do as people is care for the world we have left and create a better tomorrow for our children. I am a mother of two beautiful girls that live with me and have had two sons, both of which are adopted and have beautiful fulfilling lives. One just went to Paris Disney! I am fully accepting of the LGBTQ community and believe love is love. Loving parents are the best parents! I spend most of my time at home with my children but have a job at a pharmacy as well and I am currently studying up to take the Pharmacy Tech Board exam so I can progress in my position. I love my job but my dream goal would be to open a bakery right in my home town. I'm hoping I can put aside some income from being a surrogate towards this future dream but it isn't all about the money. I want kind, intelligent people that want to build families to have that opportunity as I have had to raise smart kids that will create a better future.
My letter to intended parents:
Dear future parents, I'm so sorry that conceiving on your own has been a difficult process but I hope I can help alleviate some stress for you by making this one a bit easier. I hope you find the perfect surrogate, I know flipping through all of us can feel a bit like online dating. Terrifying, on nearly every level, but exciting never the less. Congratulations on getting to this step and cheers to you and your future family! (I'll make this a bit more in depth later, my own kids need me!)

Dear Sara, My agency, Advocates for Surrogacy, is working with an awesome gay couple, Dan and Ale who live in Miami, Florida. They celebrated their two year wedding anniversary back in May of this year. Their best friend was their egg donor. They contacted me last year and I've had the absolute pleasure of helping them through this journey from the egg donation process to the point now where they are seeking their surrogate match.
