Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
My goal when starting my nursing career was to become a midwife. I soak up information on pregnancy and the birth experience. I loved being pregnant and while I do not want anymore kids, I would love to help someone else to become a parent who otherwise could not do it on their own.
Description of myself:
I am a mother of 5 with a blended family. I have 4 biological children, 3 boys and one girl. I am a registered nurse with a bachelors degree. I have been married for 11 years to a US Marine. We do not want anymore children of our own but I have been considering surrogacy and/ or egg donation. We are gay friendly, as my mother is gay but my mom was married to my father for many years before following her heart. We are open minded as love knows no boundaries.
My letter to intended parents:
I couldn't imagine not being able to have children and I know it would be very painful for myself if I could not conceive a child on my own. This path to becoming a parent must be a very difficult path to walk. Looking and searching for the right person to carry a child for you has to be a difficult path. I am hoping to be able to help on this journey as having a child is a feeling like no other, true unconditional love.
