Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
With a normal pregnancy and delivery, I have been blessed with my boys, and after 4 years of thought and consideration I would be honored to help create a family for deserving IP(s). I hope to find IP(s) that are loving, stable, and understanding of what it takes to raise a family. I would like to have open communication with the Intended Parent(s) throughout our surrogacy journey.
Description of myself:
I am a single, 31-year-old, African American, first time gestational surrogate, residing in Illinois. Aside from working and attending school, I love being a parent to my 5-year-old and 3-month- old sons, enjoy time with family, getting together with friends and shopping. I am very trustworthy, talkative, and outgoing.

In the time I have researched and communicated with those looking to build a family I feel and overwhelming desire to be of service. I realize IPs that have found themselves on this journey (for whatever reason) are some of the most dedicated, passionate, and optimistic beings in the world. The thought of selflessly carrying a child for you would be a great privilege. As a parent, I know there is nothing like the love you share with your child(ren), because of your unwavering acceptance of parental responsibility I want to help you achieve that love.

Dear Andrea, My agency, Advocates for Surrogacy, is working with an awesome gay couple, Dan and Ale who live in Miami, Florida. They celebrated their two year wedding anniversary back in May of this year. Their best friend was their egg donor.
