I placed my son for adoption about a year ago. I know that while being a parent is not for me, many couples out there are unable to have children and desperately want to be parents. I had an easy time with the adoption process. I saw how many people wanted a baby so badly and I felt very selfish for being able to have a baby but not want children. I didn't want to waste my ability to create life and so I decided to become a surrogate mother. I gave birth to a healthy baby boy who was 8 pounds and 11 ounces with a full head of hair! (So much that they had to trim his hair after a week) I got pregnant within a month of marriage while using contraceptives so it's pretty easy for me to conceive. All of my female family members also got pregnant quickly and easily and there is no history of fertility issues in my family.
