Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
Our family was created with the help of a sperm donor, so I know how important reproductive assistance is. While I'm not willing to donate my eggs, I do want to help others create their families. I would love to help a family by being their gestational surrogate.

My letter to intended parents:
Dear Intended Parents, I honestly do not know what questions or thoughts are going through your mind, so I won't make this letter too lengthy.I am very much an open book, so please contact me with your questions and I will do my best to answer them quickly and thoroughly. There are a few things I want to make sure you are aware of: 1) I am not interested in being a traditional surrogate, only a gestational surrogate. 2) I am a lesbian (as is my wife!) - if you are not LGBTQ-friendly, then I am not the surrogate for you. 3) I have carried and birthed one child who is currently 2 years old.My pregnancy, labor, and vaginal delivery were free of complications. Aside from the 1st-trimester morning sickness and 3rd-trimester heartburn, I really enjoyed being pregnant.My wife carried and birthed our second child. 4) I would prefer to carry a singleton, but would be willing to carry twins.If a higher order multiple pregnancy resulted, I would prefer to reduce down to twins for the health of the babies (or to a single baby if that was preferred by the intended parents).
