“If you have the power to make someone happy, do it...the world needs more of that.” -- Germany Kent This journey for me is very inspiring! The thought of helping another couple, or individual experience parenthood would be a blessing I’m willing to be a part of! I would like to help anyone who desires to be parents to nurture and care for a child as deeply as I care for my own.
I describe myself as being very compassionate, goal oriented and family-focused. Any opportunity I find to better myself and achieve all that I can, I jump on it to pave the way for my daughter to follow. My greatest joy comes from the thought or actuality of making others happy.
“Great things happen to those who don't stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.” ―Roy T. Bennett Dear Intended Parents, The excitement to potentially be one step closer making your family complete is overwhelming and thank you for considering me as your surrogate. Were you ever asked...What’s your greatest superpower? I have been asked this question and honestly it took a minute but when I sat and thought about what ever happened in my life that made me feel strong, fearless and great....that superpower I discovered was becoming a Mother! The day I became a Mom was the most miraculous experience of my life. and that same feeling today 4 years later for my daughter, Layah, is still indescribable. Today, that same feeling I have for Layah is my wish to give to you as you begin the journey of parenthood! My husband, Daniel, and I met when I was 16 and he was 23; we dated for about 4 years before we got married and we will soon be celebrating 8 years of marriage! I met him with a a beautiful daughter and she became the love of my life instantly even though circumstances permitted me from giving her all that I planned. Both Daniel and I consider ourselves very hardworking and right after marriage another child was not in the pipeline for us as yet therefore, it was never planned. I worked full-time 7 days a week as a photographer and photoshop editor and also went to college part time at night while also following my passion for becoming a makeup artist on the little spare time I had left. LOL! Doing all this made having a child the least of my concern at the time because I knew I wanted to finish my degree, open my makeup studio and begin to save up for the child I knew I would want to have in the future! Let’s just say, the know now the plans the Lord has for me because His plans were not as I had mine and shortly after my third year of college I became pregnant and my world changed forever! Layah is the sweetest and most thoughtful 4 year old I could have ever asked for. Just the other day I came home exhausted. She ran to me, gave me the biggest hug as she always does when either her dad or I get home and I’m not sure if she noticed my face or sensed that I was tired but she said “I Love you!” with the biggest smile! She brings me joy every single day and when look at her suddenly I remember that what I am working toward accomplishing in life seems that’s much easier! It’s moments, and memories like this I look forward to for You! I realize how hard it is to trust someone else with your precious child. Please know that I don’t take lightly your trust in me! I can’t wait to share this journey with you and thank you for your consideration in me being your surrogate! Warm Regards, Lateva
