Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

Being pregnant makes me extremely happy, although we are done having children of our own, I believe it is my calling in life to help others. The feeling of knowing I can help someone out in life means a lot to me. We’re not “rich” people but its one way I can give back in a really BIG way. Being able to see the face of the intended parent(s) when they finally see their child will be well worth it in the end for me.

Description of myself:

Generally, I’d like to describe myself as a very energetic, sweet, caring person. I never have a dull moment when it comes to my life. I’m 22 years old, but get told I look much younger, but have a very old wise soul. I’m non judgmental. I am funny and quirky and I’m usually the person finding the best in most situations. I adore my friends and family and I do not consider anyone to be my enemy. I’m not much of a party girl at all, you can find me snuggled up in a soft blanket on the couch watching Netflix with my kids instead of partying the night away. I am very enthusiastic about new challenges in life. I’m a huge animal lover as well. I get my happiness from helping others solve their problems. My two favorite hobbies are cooking and crafts. I do most of the cooking in my house and am always willing to try new things. I will eat just about anything as long as it is made with love. My interest are all over the map. I am huge crafter so anything along the lines of scrapbooking, drawing, painting, sewing (or at least trying to), jewelry making, chalkboard drawings, browsing on Pinterest to find fun crafts, basically anything that has to do with DIY, and crafts. I’m a big beach bum. I love listening to the soft waves crash on the shore.

My letter to intended parents:

Ultimately, I would like the intended parent(s) to be very positive about the whole situation. Have good timing. Me or the intended parent(s) are to do the surrogacy arrangement in a time frame, which would fit in our lives. These time frames are to coincide in order to avoid a lot of complicated problems. Both the intended parent(s) and I are to be able to take the time out from our lives for ALL the surrogacy arrangements. Have similar values and beliefs between the intended parent(s) and me. If I and the perspective intended parent(s) have different values and their points of view are different much from mine, this may cause conflicts. I would love for the intended parent(s) to have a strong support of me. I would like to feel appreciated by the intended parent(s), meaning they should understand everything I, the woman carrying the baby for them, is doing. They are to appreciate all my work and efforts, and they should show their gratitude during all the pregnancy period as well as the postpartum period. Receiving this kind of support will help me feel comfortable and be sure in my decision. Communication is a MUST. Keeping in close contact during the pregnancy is critical to me. There should also be open communication with the agency and the medical personnel involved. Overall, I would just like the intended parent(s) to be comfortable with me and have a bond like no other.
