Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

From the moment children come into our lives, our world changes for the better. We are suddenly filled with enormous amounts of love and devotion for a tiny little human. Their first smile, first giggle, first step and first word are just a few of the simple, but extraordinary treasures that make parenthood an amazing and rewarding experience. Helping someone else experience these treasures is one of the greatest gifts anyone can give and that is what I am aiming for.

Description of myself:

I’m a people-person. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives and their backgrounds. I can almost always find common ground with strangers, and I like making people feel comfortable in my presence.

My letter to intended parents:

It’s incomprehensible to think we do not know one another personally, because in this moment, our lives are wholly intertwined. I understand the surrogate selection process is delicate, and I am honored you’ve entrusted me to play such a significant role in your journey. It was undoubtedly challenging for you to make a decision based solely on the information and images in a database, but rest assured I am fully committed to helping you feel confident in your selection throughout this process. As your donor, I have strictly adhered to the guidelines set forth in our agreement to maximize your chances of success and am pulling for a positive outcome upon completion of this cycle. The unknown can be scary, and right now, you’re probably feeling as though a major aspect of your future is in limbo. Please know that, with each injection, I’m envisioning the best-case scenario for your family.
