Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I have dealt with premature menopause for a very long time now and I have been exposed to the world of infertility as I was doing my research and also whenever I talked to people in my support groups. I tried to be a surrogate for my aunt when she was battling with infertility and my family was strongly against it. This showed me how much of a desperate need surrogate mothers are for some families. There are definitely more families who need a willing person who can help them bring children into the world and I would like to be that person for them. I would like to be part of the solution for at least one couple.

Description of myself:

I am an energetic, fun loving and happy lady who loves and finds joy in anything to do with problem solving and nurturing. A year ago I finally became a foster mom and within this year I have fostered 4 beautiful children. In the process I have begun to appreciate the beauty of family as I started my own family in an unorthodox way which as a single mom living in Africa left many eyebrows raised. I generally love having fun with my friends, love pushing through hard things (hence fostering with all my heart) and I also love helping out. I am a full time Marketing Manager for an international brand and I absolutely love my job because it gives me the opportunity to be creative and yet stick to certain guidelines except for the times when I want to break out of the box which I am allowed to.

My letter to intended parents:

Hello there! I don't know what brings you to this solution, but I know what brings me here; I am here to help you bring your baby into the world. There is probably a lot going on and you are wondering why I want to do this? Well I believe I am created to be a helper and to be the solution to as many problems as I see. And right now the solution I can be for you is to carry your baby for you if you will let me. As a foster mom I already know what it's like to love and care for someone else's child while their mother or father cannot and give them back to their loving parents when the time is right. And I promise you I will do the same for your unborn baby while I carry them for you. I am very excited to be doing this and I hope you will trust this stranger you don't even know to carry your baby for you!
