Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

My first three children were conceived and born with no issues whatsoever, they are now 20, 18 and 16 years old. My fourth child, who is now 2 1/2, was conceived through IVF with donor eggs and ended with severe pre-eclampsia, our son was delivered six weeks early as a result. After consulting with several doctors we have decided that the risk to both myself and a baby would be far to high to continue moving in the direction of getting pregnant myself. However, our son is absolutely adorable and he is my husbands first child, not only would both my husband and I love the opportunity to raise his genetic sibling but we would also love the opportunity to give him a sibling closer to his age. After watching my first three grow up as best friends, I cannot imagine my son not having the same opportunity.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I am a positive, outgoing, spiritual person who believes that life is a journey and everything happens for a reason. I own my own business serving the elderly in the Bay Area and absolutely love what I do. My job allows me the freedom to be with my children and to enjoy time with my family while at the same time fulfilling a life of service to others. I feel truly blessed with the life I have and look forward to adding one more child to complete my family.

My proudest accomplishment has been bringing my four children into this world and having the opportunity to raise four truly amazing people. My greatest sadness is the fact that I cannot give my husband the gift of another child and being able to raise that child into a beautiful and amazing human being. My first three children came from a previous marriage and while I never intended to have more children I met my husband and couldn't imagine a world where he wasn't a parent. He loved my children like they were his own, he is an amazing father and an amazing friend. While I may not be able to fulfill his desire of more children, YOU can and that is an amazing gift for which I would be forever grateful. I do not want my husband to miss out on the opportunity to have a larger family and I do not want my son to miss out on the amazing friendship he would find with a sibling. Selfishly, I am not done...I want another children as much for myself as I do for them. I'm not sure if you know just how incredible you are to me...to give so much of yourself for the greater good of another family is an absolutely selfless act that clearly comes from the heart. I am in awe of you, I am grateful for you, and I feel incredibly blessed for the opportunity that lies before me and whoever it is that ends up helping us at the end of this journey.
