Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I have struggled with fertility problems for about 12 years. (I have been through 23+ rounds of IVF and related procedures.) I have lost multiple pregnancies. My most recent pregnancy lasted until 14 weeks when I wound up septic and almost died. The baby died and I was told I should not get pregnant again. We have a daughter who knows what happened and is so sad that she lost her brother. We are hoping to use a surrogate to finally have the second child we have been hoping for all of these years, and to finally give our daughter a sibling.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

We are a fun-loving small family who has desired another member for over a decade. (My husband and my problems with fertility began before we had our daughter when I suffered a 16 week miscarriage.) Our daughter has begged for a sibling, all the while not knowing our struggle and deep pain. We thought our prayers were finally answered and the family was overjoyed. A baby brother was on the way. At 14 weeks I became ill with sepsis. I almost died and lost the baby. We are all picking up the pieces, but are still determined and hopeful to have another child. We will be very grateful to finally have another member of the family.
