Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

My husband and I were on top of the world when less than 1 year after our wedding we were expecting our first child. The first of a now familiar feeling of a breaking heart came when that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage 8 weeks in. Just 2 months later we were elated to be expecting again, but once again devastated to lose our 2nd baby during the 7th week. After consulting our doctor, we decided to try another pregnancy. Nine months later we were again blessed with our 3rd pregnancy, and to our despair, another miscarriage ensued. Throughout all our dispair, we never for a moment considered abandoning our dream of having children. We turned to modern medicine to help us determine the reason for our multiple losses. Being a very understudied area of fertility, our specialists didnt have any answers as to why this was happening. So we tried one more time with IVF and genetic testing of our embryos. Our first attempt resulted in pregnancy, however the joy was short-lived when no cardiac activity could be detected in the 8th week. We decided to explore the option of surrogacy and so now... we seek a miracle with your help.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I am a sincere, funny, loyal, lovable, independent person with a great sense of humor. The role models in my life have made me who I am today. I think I’m unique because I can be professional, mature, and classy when the situation calls for it, but I can also be sassy, silly, and kid-like. I also find myself mixing the two just to make life a little more fun! I’m a kid at heart. I was raised in a large Italian family and we are all very close. My parents will be married 34 years this year and are such incredible role models for me. With the guidance they have provided, I know I will be a great mom one day. In my free time, I love to cook and bake (I am known in the neighbourhood for making some of the most delicious bars), read, dance, play soccer and take long walks and bike rides with my husband. We also love to travel together and experience all the different cultures life has to offer. My life is stable both emotionally and financially. I have been practicing as a general dentist in a small town for the past 5 years. I love my job and I love that I can educate my patients and help them feel more confidant about their overall appearance and self-worth. I’ve worked hard to grow in my job and I just love what I do! It has provided me with financial stability and a sense of purpose, but it always comes second to my personal life and family. My husband is an incredible man. He is extremely caring, super intelligent and very funny. What I love about him is the little things he does to make me feel special. He finds the fun and laughter in the small things. He has had a lot of experience with his nephews and nieces so he’s seen the good and the difficulties in raising a child. He is very passionate about everything he does, whether it be training a new employee at work, or leading his hockey team to victory on the rink, he puts his whole heart into it. We both value family and would like our children to be close to each other and their cousins, as we are to our siblings. We feel that one can only benefit from having a strong family support system. We were so in love the day we were married, and our love has continued to grow over the years. This year we will be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary together. I believe that our life experiences have prepared us for this next phase in our lives.

Words cannot begin to describe how excited we are about bringing a new baby into our home and family... both of which are filled with unconditional love, respect, acceptance, laughter, hugs, kisses, and fun! We offer ... all the love we have, a secure family unit, a huge, loving and welcoming extended family, healthy and committed Mom and Dad, a secure financial situation and home, and unending love and respect for our Surrogate mother and her family. Without your help we will not have a family. You are giving more than just the "Gift of Life", as incredibly precious as that is in itself, you would also be in the truly unique position of bringing healing and a new beginning to hearts that we thought would stay broken forever. Wherever your journey leads you, we hope you find comfort in knowing that your sacrifice means more than words could ever convey to a childless couple such as ourselves. We have always longed for children. We would love to be parents and be given the opportunity to love and nurture a child together from the beginning of his/her life. Surrogacy is a wonderful alternative for us. We have done quite a lot of research on surrogacy, and we realize how incredibly precious a surrogate mother is.
