Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I cannot imagine my life without my children and I know there are people whose hearts are aching to have a child of their own.I have thought about doing this several times before and I know if I don't do it now I will never get the chance.. I am a labor and delivery nurse and so on a daily basis I get to assist families in bringing their children into the world.I cannot tell you how rewarding this is.I would be excited to take that to a whole new level and being a surrogate would allow me to do that. I feel my experience as a labor and delivery nurse, and working with women's health services will help you to know that I am very knowledgeable in pregnancy, labor, delivery and childbirth, and postpartum.I hope this would be a comfort to my intended parents/parents. I had two full-term very healthy pregnancies.My son delivered at *** weeks weighing *** ounces and 22 inches long.And my daughter was induced at *** weeks and weighed 8 lbs.4 oz and *** inches long. I had no complications with my pregnancies or my deliveries and my children were very healthy normal well babies after. Although I would be carrying your child, I would treat the pregnancy as responsibly and lovingly as if it were my own child.As a nurse working on the labor and delivery unit, I am surrounded by some of the very best physicians and nurses.I would prefer to deliver at the hospital where I work so I know my nurse sisters and physicians would treat me and you like family and this baby would get the very best care possible! I also have very good health insurance as well.

Description of myself:

I would describe myself as happy and positive.I have a lot of energy and we live a healthy active lifestyle. I am very sweet, kind, and compassionate.I am a very gentle mother, I don't raise my voice or get angry with my children.I have a variety of interests and talents.I initially went to school on an art scholarship for voice/ singing.I also have interest in painting drawing, dancing, playing the piano and other instruments.Who is very active in sports growing up.I loved volleyball softball and basketball but my true love was track and field.I also did dance team and cheerleading through high school.As an adult I'm more involved now in Road biking and skiing.But I also love doing things outdoors as well such as camping fishing and four wheeling.

My letter to intended parents:

Although I recognize that my age is not ideal for being a Surrogate, I know I have much to offer.Surely you could find somebody who is younger but with age comes wisdom, maturity and responsibility that sometimes a younger person does not have.I am a divorced single mom raising two children and I cannot imagine my life without my children.I want to help give that to somebody else.I would love to help a couple trying to have a child or a single parent who has not had the opportunity but would like to have a child of their own.I live in a suburb of Salt Lake City Utah.We have a very healthy and positive lifestyle.I do not drink smoke or do drugs nor have I ever done anything like that.We also do not own a TV and we do not own video games.I'm a firm believer or that without those in our lives, it has encouraged my children to be more creative and explore the world around them. I don't believe I have ever seen my son sit on our couch, except to lace up his boots and go outside to work.He is 15 years old and is incredibly gifted with his hands at building and fixing things.He is a gentleman and pulls out the chairs for my daughter and I and opens our doors.He loves to ride his dirt bike and four wheeler and do anything outdoors such as camping and fishing.He is enrolled in an agricultural high school where the school takes place on a farm.He loves to work hard and values the rewards he gets from his hard work.This is very atypical of teenagers these days.He is currently working on his Eagle scout and hopefully will complete that within the next year.He is tender hearted, compassionate, old-fashioned, a gentleman, and an amazing son.I truly don't deserve to be his mother. My daughter is 12 and is very bright and talented.Since we don't own a TV, she has learned not to be idle.She learned to love reading at a very young age and I could not keep enough literature in our home.She's read most of the classics, the Harry Potter series, the Lord of the rings series, anything she could get her hands on and most of it by four she was that age 7.By age 9 she had written two novels that she hoped to publish she is going to grow up to be an amazing writer.She is involved in a competitive dance team and she loves doing that very much.She was little Miss USA *** enrolled her in pageants because she was very shy this has helped her learn how to come out of her shell and not be afraid to make new friends.
