Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

Nothing beats that feeling of becoming a Mom for the 1st time!! It is joyous, scary, wonderful, life changing. I wish to help an IM fulfill her dream. This will be my one and only journey. I'm a Northern California SF Bay Area GS looking for 1st time English speaking IPs preferably that want only ONE healthy baby during this journey. (English as a Second Language okay ... just need to be able to communicate clearly as this topic is so important). Cleared by my Obgyn for SET.Medical files cleared with Oregon Reproductive Medicine ivf clinic twice (once in January and once in Feb/March of '17 ...just recently). My letter to intended parents:

I'm a married stay-at-home mother of 3 boys (ages 7, 6, and 4).Health insurance does NOT cover surrogacy.Looking for a lovely couple/woman that really wants to start a family. Wishing to find an IM that sees this as more than a transaction.I'm an experienced mother.Caucasian looking but technically mixed race *** breakdown of genetics.Was blessed to get pregnant on the first planned try each time naturally with our own 3 children (would have done IUI, IVF and surrogacy ourselves if we needed it to have a family).Tested ourselves before pregnancy to make sure we were not genetic carriers of anything.Tested our pregnancies via blood, amnio, and cvs to insure genetically healthy kids.I believe in terminations for abnormalities. Shots up to date.Non-smoker.Non drinker.No tattoos.Only earrings.No Rxs other than headache stuff.No STDs, no HPV.Really down to earth.Blood type O+.Responsible to a fault.Healthy BMI. Mature - over 40.(GS ASRM guidelines 21-45). Secure and stable life. Practical and down to earth. Extremely responsible. Former admin in the tech/finance and engineering worlds. Stellar references.Enjoying time with kids at home but wish to help a woman build her family.I'm definitely the type of GS I would want to carry my child if the shoe were on the other foot.I've been screened by 4 Surrogacy Agencies (that take GS's over age 40) and passed application/background check/medical records review.Almost matched independently a few times but it fell thru.A bit of an emotional roller coaster. Wish to stay on the West Coast preferably as I have my own home and family to take care of.Blood donor, organ donor on DL, Be The Match donor to help someone with cancer.Adopted pets from shelters.Active in my community.Open heart.Want to help and I have the time and capabilities.Why wouldn't I do this? It is a no brainer. I have researched surrogacy lawyers in my area and chosen who I think I wish to work with.I'm looking for serious IPs please.I decided to do this on Mother's Day of '15 when I realized how complete our family was and would love to help a woman with her family.Having a hard time finding the RIGHT match.Frozen SET preferred.I've been screened by my OB/GYN and approved for SET.Medical records reviewed and approved twice by ORM in Portland. Would love to try carrying a girl as all my pregnancies were boys and I wonder if it would feel different. Open to whatever relationship IPs would like to have but request a yearly family picture Christmas card to see how everyone is doing and growing (does the baby have the mom's nose and the dad's chin ...just curious).Open to pumping breastmilk after delivery.Would love it if IPs were open to donate umbilical cord blood to Be The Match (if not freezing it themselves) after delivery.It is free and could help a person with cancer treatment.Otherwise hospital throws out as medical waste. My husband (PhD and MBA) is supportive.Happy wife.Happy life.Knows I am a big softy.Our life revolves around our family.My oldest boys are excited about the concept of Mommy growing a baby in her belly for another Mommy that cannot.
